IMPACT Bible Clubs are a transformative summer ministry where high school teens lead Bible clubs for elementary-aged children (ages 5-12) across Killeen, Harker Heights, and surrounding communities. Through fun, faith-filled activities like games, Bible stories, skits, worship, and snacks, these teens share the gospel of Jesus Christ with hundreds of kids right in their neighborhoods. It’s more than just a week of clubs—it’s an opportunity for teens to grow as leaders, for kids to hear the good news, and for communities to come together in faith.
How Our Teens Get Ready to Serve
Our teen volunteers don’t just show up—they’re equipped through a thoughtful process:
- Weekly Training Sessions: Starting in the spring, teens gather to learn how to teach Bible lessons, lead group activities, and share their faith in ways kids can understand. They even practice handling those unexpected questions kids love to ask!
- Training Camp: Before the clubs kick off, teens attend a week-long camp near Killeen. It’s a mix of skill-building, team bonding, and spiritual growth—think late-night devotions and practicing skits until they’re just right.
- Adult Guidance: Every teen is paired with experienced adult mentors who provide encouragement, answer questions, and help them shine as leaders.
This preparation ensures they’re confident and ready to lead with joy, creating a lasting impact on the children they meet.
